Indomethacin, a prostaglandin synthetase inhibitor, has recently been used in the treatment of polyhydramnios based on its therapeutic effect on reduction of the amniotic fluid volume and tocolysis. It has been reported that with indomethacin
perinatal
outcome can be improved by preventing the preterm labor and premature rupture of membrane which are the most serious problems in polyhydramnios. We experienced a case of recurrent idiopathic polyhydramnios which resulted in good pregnancy outcome
with
indomethacin therapy and present it with the review of literatures.
